RATINGEN GERMANY, May 28, 2025 – FUJIFILM Healthcare Europe are delighted to announce the European launch of the new routine colonoscope ELUXEO^® EC-860S with a state-of-the-art CMOS sensor. Following the groundbreaking ELUXEO^® 8000 system, this is the third in an entire series of new and upcoming innovations to be released under the ‘WELCOME, FUTURE’ initiative.

SUPPORTING ROUTINE CANCER SCREENING
Commonly used in bowel cancer screening, routine colonoscopes support endoscopists during the screening for polyps or abnormalities. With image quality being a key factor, the EC-860S ELUXEO^® Colonoscope has now been equipped with a new high-resolution CMOS sensor.

DISCOVER NEW CAPABILITIES
With the addition of FUJIFILM’s more light-sensitive high-resolution CMOS sensor, the new 800 Series ELUXEO^® EC-860S colonoscope is designed to enhance high-definition image quality, supporting special light observation modes such as Linked Color Imaging (LCI), Blue Light Imaging (BLI) and Amber-red Color Imaging (ACI) that can assist in the entire screening-to-treatment endoscopy journey. It offers 170° field of view, a 12.8 mm outer diameter, a 3.8 mm instrument channel, and is available in three lengths.
